100 Pictures = 7 Good Enough to Post

Ribboned Pearls Necklace
On my self declared Pajama Sunday, I decided to take a few pics of some projects I've been working on.  Funny how one art form begets another.  In this case, in order to showcase the jewelry I make, I now have to become a photographer and a photo editor.

Springtime Pearl Bracelet

I did learn a few things...like using a crumpled white plastic bag for a background, helps my camera focus better then the beautiful black satin I had...go figure.  I'm sure it has something to do with f-stops and exposures, but I have a point and shoot camera for a reason...mainly, so I don't have to think about histograms and shutter speeds.

Tigereye Prayers

The original photos were still a bit dark, but I played around in Picasa and was able to brighten them up a bit.  At this size, they don't look so bad, but please I beg of you...don't enlarge them...that's when they start looking scary...your eyes will cross and start tearing from the blurriness.

I've posted these photos, along with a few close ups to show some of the detail, in the Jewelry Gallery tab...oooo...I know...a whole other dimension in photos.

Lavender in Spring Bracelet

4 hours and 100 photos later...thank God for digital format...this is what I have to show for myself...7 photos good enough to post.
